Tempera Paint on Newsprint.
Kind of inspired by the song “Take It Off” by Ke$ha, but also very inspired by the personality of the person it was for.

I’m sorry, but I have to say something..
First of all, I have absolutely no problem with Lady Gaga! I like her music and she really knows how to make a statement.
That being said, while I do like her music, a lot of it is nearly exactly identical to other artists of the past. Especially Madonna. Ever listened to Madonna’s “Express Yourself” and Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” at the same time? Yeah, there is VERY LITTLE difference between the two. I would consider this stealing.
As for the “beats”. As the picture states, Dr. Luke GIVES them those “beats”, which means that Dr. Luke owns those “beats”, therefore he has the right to give them to whomever he pleases and it would not be considered stealing because THEY ARE HIS. Also, having an identical beat (especially in pop music) and having entire songs that are nearly identical to others of the past are two completely different things. If you listen to songs by the artists mentioned bellow, you would not be able to tell that they have an identical factor in them. It just sounds like pop music. While the “beats” may be the same, all other aspects of the song are different from each other, causing them all to sound different. As I stated before, with Lady Gaga, this is not necessarily the case.
I’m gunna get a lot of shit for this post, and honestly I don’t care. Like I said before, no problem with Lady Gaga here, and I am not necessarily saying that she is blatantly and intentionally stealing songs, I just thought this picture was a bit misconstrued.
